Equipped Night
Equipped Night meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 6-8pm at RVC. The goal of Equipped Night is to equip youth to be prepared for answering hard questions regarding their faith through topical apologetic Bible studies. We want youth to feel confident in trusting God’s Word and to be prepared to give an answer to anyone who asks them about their faith in Christ. We start off each Equipped Night with a fun activity that is meant to foster joy attached to the fellowship youth have with other youth within RVC. Fun activities and Bible study also are aimed at helping youth further grow in their social skills in ways that honor the Lord and build one another up.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club for youth meets on the last Sunday of every month from 9:00am-9:50am in the basement meeting room. The goal of Breakfast Club is to help youth treasure God’s Word through inductive Bible studies on books of the Bible. We hope this will help equip youth to lead their own Bible studies as they become more confident studying God’s Word on their own.
Service Events / Outreach
Service and outreach events are aimed at helping youth grow in their understanding of the importance of serving in a local Church and the importance of engaging the lost around them with the Gospel. We seek to have one to two service and outreach focused events for youth each semester.
TN Mission Trip
The Tennessee Mission Trip is a yearly mission trip we hope all youth (6th-12th) will be able to attend at least once before they graduate from high school. The purpose of the trip is to partner with our brothers and sisters in Christ at Grace Fellowship Church in a week-long Sports Camp outreach to kids in kindergarten through 6th grade. Participants also do service projects each day in Cowan, TN to help serve the community for the advancement of the Gospel by their hard work and witness. This trip involves growing youth in their service to the local Church, outreach to the lost, social skills that honor the Lord, and their understanding of God’s activity outside their own community (missions). We see this trip as highly valuable for the discipleship of youth at RVC.
